Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Manager, the Salon Services Provider provides hair care and personal grooming services to residents of the long-term care home in accordance with professional standards, infection prevention and control (IPAC) requirements, resident preferences, and legislative requirements. They promote resident dignity, comfort, and self-esteem through personalized hair and grooming services.
Hours of work: 16 hours bi-weekly, based on operational needs.
Compensation: $25.35 to $29.66 per hour (to commensurate with experience).

Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of recognized training in hairstyling/cosmetology.
Certification/licence requirements per Ontario standards.
Experience in LTC or older adult setting preferred.




Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must be compassionate, respectful, and sensitive to diverse needs.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to maintain a clean, protected environment.
Knowledge of IPAC principles.
Provide explicit Vulnerable Sector Check.
