Lead Inpho’s InP photonics validation with high-speed testing and Python analysis, owning device characterization from the ground up.As a Senior Electro-Optical Validation Engineer, you will characterize next-generation optical components and photonic chips. The work spans IMDD, PAM4, InP modulators, EMLs, photodetectors, and transceivers. You will partner with design and test teams to refine methods and troubleshoot device-level issues.Key Responsibilities:
Execute time-domain, frequency-domain, chirp, linewidth, RIN, and spectral measurementsLead EVT and DVT planning, execution, coverage, criteria,

and technical sign-offBring up TIA evaluation boards and characterize amplifier-detector interactionConfigure high-speed electro-optical measurements across device pads and geometriesDevelop Python visualization and analysis tools for complex performance dataRequirements:
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher degree in electrical engineering or related fieldEight-plus years in optical networking, photonics, or optoelectronic engineeringHands-on validation of InP components and transceivers or pluggablesHigh-speed equipment debugging and Python, MATLAB, Pandas, or Plotly expertiseLeadership, analytical skills, communication, and mentoring abilityApply senior validation expertise across InP components, PAM4 testing, high-speed equipment, and Python-based analysis at Inpho.
