Timmins Family Counselling Centre (TFCC) is seeking a Bilingual Therapist (English/French) to join our team as an Independent Contractor.

This adaptable contract opportunity is ideal for a clinical professional interested in providing counselling services to youth, adults, couples, and families within a community-based counselling agency.

Responsibilities
Provide counselling and psychotherapy services to clients aged 12 and older.
Deliver individual, couple, and family counselling services.
Maintain clinical documentation and statistical reporting in accordance with agency and funder requirements.
Participate in agency programs and services as appropriate.
Other duties related to client care and service delivery as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Master’s Degree in Psychology, Equivalent education and relevant clinical experience may be considered.
Registered or eligible for registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic skills.
Experience working with trauma, abuse,



intimate partner violence, depression, anxiety, grief, and other mental health concerns is considered an asset.
Experience facilitating groups is an asset.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
