Summary: This is an opportunity to be an integral part of the Accounting Team at Lipman Family Farms, responsible for providing key decision support to executive leadership in a fast-growing, nation-wide fresh produce company. This role provides vital financial performance information and analysis to Sr. Management and ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. - Prepare and record journal entries
- Prepare and analyze financial reports both GAAP reporting and operational reporting
- Verify and analyze account balances to ensure accuracy; explain issues and variances
- Resolve accounting errors by investigating and identifying issues then documenting and correcting as required
- Participate in month-end and year-end close activities
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger
- Participate in year-end financial statement audit




- Ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 2 years proven success in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail, organization and follow through
- Ability to complete projects timely and accurately is critical
- Advanced computer skills; particularly Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Driven individual with the ability to complete tasks timely and accurately is critical
- Solid business acumen
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Experience in agriculture or manufacturing industries a plus
- Experience with IBM Cognos TM1 or Microsoft Power BI a plus Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
