We are seeking an exceptionally skilled Remote Academic Essay Writing & Competition Instructor to guide motivated elementary and high school students in preparing for competitive academic essay-writing opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding academic writing ability, intellectual depth, strong analytical reasoning skills, and the ability to mentor students in developing original, sophisticated, and well-supported arguments. The role emphasizes advanced academic essay writing, critical analysis, interdisciplinary inquiry, and independent intellectual exploration rather than general English tutoring, ESL instruction, or basic composition. This is a fully remote, independent contractor position with versatile teaching hours, primarily on weekends and weekday evenings (Eastern Time, Toronto). All lessons will be conducted online. Candidates must have a reliable internet connection and be available for scheduled teaching sessions.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach advanced academic essay writing, critical analysis, and evidence-based reasoning.
- Guide students in interpreting complex essay questions and developing original, intellectually rigorous responses.




- Teach students to formulate defensible theses, construct logical arguments, examine assumptions, and critically evaluate counterarguments.
- Introduce students to interdisciplinary approaches involving philosophy, history, politics, economics, psychology, and related fields.
- Develop students' independent thinking, research skills, and ability to evaluate competing perspectives.
- Prepare structured lessons, discussion activities, and challenging writing exercises aligned with advanced academic essay competitions. Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 – 10.0 per week Application question(s):
