This U.S. Tax Manager position serves an established accounting practice providing personal and corporate tax services. You will review individual and business returns, guide tax preparers, manage workflow, and address client questions. The focus is technical review rather than high-volume preparation.
Key Responsibilities: Review U.S. personal returns, including Form 1040
Review corporate returns, including Forms 1120, 1120-S, and 1065
Identify technical issues and planning opportunities
Guide preparers and junior reviewers
Manage deadlines across U.S. tax engagements
Requirements: Solid professional experience in U.S. taxation
Public accounting experience with U.S. returns
Experience reviewing individual and business returns
Knowledge of U.S. federal tax regulations
