HP IQ is HP's AI innovation lab building intelligent technologies across HP's portfolio. The team seeks a Senior Digital Product Designer focused on design systems and creative operations to own the design foundation that scales HP IQ across products, platforms, and verticals. This is a senior individual contributor role with cross-team influence that partners closely with engineering to ensure design intent translates to shipped product across Windows, Android, and beyond.
What you'll do Drive the development and evolution of HP IQ's shared design library and systems infrastructure across products and platforms
Define and design product features, user flows, and interaction patterns with clear documentation and rationale
Partner closely with software engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation and execution fidelity across native platforms
Build bridges between design and development workflows through tooling, code-connected systems, and scalable component strategies
Collaborate with brand and visual design teams to extend and implement HP IQ's visual language across product experiences
Contribute design leadership to Verticals and other emerging intelligent systems initiatives
Establish scalable processes, documentation standards, and cross-functional design practices




Mentor designers across the team and elevate the design org's systems literacy and craft
What they're looking for 7+ years of experience designing, prototyping, and shipping digital products, with demonstrated impact at a senior IC scope
Solid portfolio demonstrating shipped digital product experiences, sophisticated systems thinking, and work that has measurably shaped product direction
Deep experience building and scaling design systems and component libraries, including tokens, governance, documentation, and supporting tooling
Experience designing across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, web) with understanding of platform-specific interaction conventions and developer handoff requirements
Fluency in modern design tools, with deep expertise in Figma (variable systems, advanced component architecture, plugin development)
Strong foundation in user-centered design principles, visual design, typography, and interaction design
Experience designing for AI-driven experiences, intelligent systems, or next-generation productivity tools
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design rationale to engineers, executives, and cross-functional partners
