Urban Mechanical is looking for a Journeyman or 4th Year Apprentice Plumber to join our service team. We work with residential, condominium, and commercial customers throughout Calgary and the surrounding area. We’re looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, takes pride in quality workmanship, and communicates well with customers and coworkers. What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, drainage problems, and fixture failures.
- Install, repair, and replace piping, valves, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Service and replace hot water tanks and related components.
- Perform drain cleaning and investigate recurring blockages.
- Complete preventative maintenance and identify repairs needed.
- Record clear service notes, photos, and material requirements.
- Keep customers informed about findings and recommended work.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency service. What We’re Looking For
- Journeyman Plumber certification or registration as a 4th Year Plumbing Apprentice.
- Service plumbing experience and strong troubleshooting skills.




- Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
- Professional, friendly customer service.
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Reliable attendance, good organization, and attention to detail.
- Commitment to protected work practices and clean, professional workmanship.
