Job Description
Reporting to and working closely with the Production Leader and production team, the Production Associate is responsible for supporting the manufacture of high-quality composite textile materials at ALUULA's Grandview facility in Vancouver. This is a hands-on position suited to a dependable, detail-oriented individual who can follow established procedures, operate production equipment, maintain accurate records, and support a safe and efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform detailed manufacturing procedures to produce high-quality ALUULA composite materials.
- Learn and safely operate assigned industrial production equipment and machinery.
- Identify and report equipment, process, material, or safety concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Follow approved work instructions, production procedures, and training requirements.
- Handle and prepare production materials with care to prevent damage or contamination.
- Support equipment setup, cleaning, changeovers, and routine operator checks as assigned.
- Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety requirements.
- Recommend practical process improvements that support material quality, safety, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Cross-train on additional production equipment and activities as operational needs and training allow.



Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, fabrication, warehouse, or other hands-on industrial experience is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the safe operation of production equipment.
- Ability to follow written procedures and complete accurate production and quality records.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, material condition, and product quality.
- Reliable communication and willingness to stop and report safety, quality, or equipment concerns.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a production team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive production tasks.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to safely handle production materials and loads within established workplace requirements, using available lifting aids where applicable.
- Experience with composite materials, textiles, films, laminates, quality inspection, or production equipment is an asset.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada (ALUULA is unable to provide work permit sponsorship for this position) Security Screening ALUULA supplies materials to commercial, government and defence customers.
