We help customers manage energy costs, reduce peak demand, and improve energy efficiency through battery storage and energy management technologies.

About the role
We are hiring a Sales Engineer to grow our BESS business in Ontario. You will be the technical face of our proposals: reviewing customer electricity bills and load profiles, sizing preliminary storage solutions, preparing quotations and technical proposals, and working with our engineering and project teams to close business. This is a customer-facing technical role. You do not need a sales background, but you do need real hands-on electrical experience and the confidence to explain it to a customer.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the commercial and industrial energy storage market.
- Meet prospective customers, contractors, consultants and industry partners, and build those relationships.
- Conduct customer meetings and site visits to assess electrical systems, energy usage and operational requirements.
- Review electricity bills, load profiles and customer requirements to support preliminary BESS assessments.
- Explain BESS technology, energy management systems, demand-charge reduction, energy savings and return on investment.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, presentations and preliminary solution recommendations.
- Coordinate with engineering, project management and finance to develop solutions and commercial proposals.
- Follow up on leads,



negotiate commercial terms and support sales closure.
- Maintain accurate pipeline records and customer information.
- Stay current on BESS, electrical systems and the energy storage market. Required Qualifications
- A completed degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Power Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with electrical equipment in one or more of: electrical design, field service, commissioning, installation, troubleshooting, or applications engineering.
- Able to read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, product datasheets and technical specifications.
- Able to work in person at our Mississauga office.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada. Education requirement A bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field other than Civil Engineering or Architecture, recognized as equivalent to a Canadian bachelor's degree or higher. For degrees earned outside Canada, the degree-granting institution must appear on the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Recognized Universities and Higher Educational Institutions Outside Canada list. - Direct experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems.
- Experience with battery systems, inverters, power conversion systems, energy management systems or related electrical technologies.
- Field service, commissioning or maintenance experience on electrical equipment.
- Experience in renewable energy, solar,



microgrids, EV charging or power systems.
- Experience with commercial and industrial customers.
- Experience preparing quotations, proposals or managing customer accounts.
- Familiarity with electricity rates, demand charges, energy savings and ROI calculations.
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation. Compensation
- $60,000–$90,000 annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
