As Lead Frontend JavaScript Developer, you will shape technical design, development, and integration across CIBC’s front-end web applications. You will support digital transformation through personalized client solutions involving multiple back-end systems. The role combines application architecture, strategic planning, and developer leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop innovative, cost-effective frontend solutions
Coordinate complicated application programming activities
Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with bank goals




Lead projects involving backend systems and existing applications
Run code reviews and mentor developers
Requirements: Five to eight years of relevant experience
Frontend web application development using JavaScript
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Root Cause Analysis and corrective action planning experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical discipline
