About the Opportunity
The Senior Manager, Accounting will oversee a team of Property Accountants responsible for a large commercial or retail real estate portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of property-level financial reporting, complex accounting activities and ongoing process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of 4-5 Property Accountants

Oversee accounting and financial reporting across a large commercial or retail property portfolio





Review monthly reporting, reconciliations and property-level financial results

Oversee complex recoveries, CAM, property taxes and related accounting activities

Monitor cash flows and support budgeting and financial decision-making

Review team deliverables and provide hands-on support with complex accounting issues

Drive process improvements while strengthening the capabilities of the accounting team

About You

Strong commercial or retail property accounting experience

Experience overseeing large, complex property portfolios , including properties with significant tenant volumes

Strong knowledge of complex recoveries, CAM and property taxes

Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and reviewing the work of accounting teams
