Strengthen equipment reliability for Greenfire Resources through mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and field leadership in Fort McMurray.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this Supervisor leads mechanical maintenance at SAGD central processing facilities, well pads, and infrastructure. The full time, permanent role coordinates employees, contractors, Operations, Reliability, Planning, Supply Chain, and service providers. Work is based at the Fort McMurray Production Facility on a 7/7 or 14/14 rotation.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace mechanical equipment
Provide technical guidance on failures and corrective actions
Conduct walkdowns and verify execution readiness before work
Partner with planners on scopes, resources,



and operating windows
Participate in shutdowns, turnarounds, and lessons learned
Requirements: Minimum ten years’ industrial mechanical maintenance experience
Red Seal Millwright or Steamfitter-Pipefitter certification preferred
Practical knowledge of rotating and stationary equipment
Experience with IBM Maximo or comparable maintenance systems
Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs;
Bring troubleshooting, planning, and equipment-history expertise to reliable mechanical maintenance across Greenfire’s SAGD assets.
