As a Senior Specifications Writer, you will support DIALOG’s practice-wide Specifications Team. You will collaborate with project managers, job captains, architects, engineers, contract administrators, and specialty consultants. The work combines specification writing, product research, contract procedures, and project documentation. You will contribute across projects from preparation through completion while developing expertise in building science and construction delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, edit, and manage architectural specifications
Advise project teams on specifications and tendering procedures
Lead specifications across wide-ranging projects and delivery models




Mentor junior team members and help manage workloads
Prepare addenda, bid revisions, proposals, and project documents
Requirements: Passion for building science and aptitude for specifications
Specification writing, contract administration, or project management experience
Architecture or engineering degree, or architectural technology diploma
CSP or RSW certification, or desire to pursue certification
Knowledge of contract law and product research
Bring technical specification writing, building science knowledge, and project guidance to DIALOG’s multidisciplinary design practice across Canada.
