Lead strategic sourcing for electrical infrastructure projects in a hybrid Senior Project Buyer contract based in Calgary or Edmonton. Manage complex procurement and commercial negotiations.
This experienced Senior Project Buyer supports a large portfolio of capital expansion projects. The work covers electrical equipment, energy-related initiatives, supplier relationships, and contract management. You will partner with project, supply chain, category management, governance, legal, and quality teams to support project execution.
Key Responsibilities: Lead sourcing for complex, high-value electrical equipment
Develop procurement plans, forecasts, reports, and updates
Manage RFX development, evaluations, negotiations, and execution
Identify supplier capacity, risks,



and mitigation opportunities
Monitor supplier performance and contractual commitments
Requirements: University degree or equivalent education and experience
Minimum seven years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain
Experience procuring electrical equipment for energy projects
Experience negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts
ERP experience, preferably Oracle R12 or Oracle Cloud
Apply strategic sourcing, electrical procurement, and contract expertise to major capital projects from Calgary or Edmonton.
