Key Responsibilities
and Accountabilities The following responsibilities are not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned as required by operational needs or the immediate supervisor. Customer Service & Fuel Operations
- Provide courteous, professional service to customers at the fuel pumps throughout each shift.
- Confirm the requested fuel amount with the customer before dispensing to prevent over
- or under-fueling.
- Offer windshield cleaning service to all customers.
- Check oil and windshield washer fluid levels upon customer request.
- Collect fuel payments, provide accurate change and receipts when requested, and remit payments of $300 or more to the cashier.
- Continuously monitor the fuel pumps throughout the entire shift. Cleaning & General Maintenance
- Inspect all pumps at the beginning of each shift and immediately report malfunctions, damage, or closed pumps to the supervisor.
- Inspect fuel tank traps and keep them free of water, soil,



and debris to prevent interruptions during fuel deliveries.
- Regularly clean and maintain pumps, windshield washer stations, squeegees, paper towel dispensers, garbage bins, and surrounding areas.
- Refill paper towel dispensers and other supplies as required.
- Empty garbage and recycling containers from the pump and garage areas into the designated main bins and replace bags.
- Keep the pump area and parking lot clean and free of litter, cigarette butts, leaves, dirt, and other debris.
- Apply absorbent material to fuel spills when required and follow established spill procedures.
- Report tools, equipment, or supplies requiring repair or replacement to the immediate supervisor. Safety & Seasonal Responsibilities
- Follow all company procedures, workplace policies, and established health and safety practices.
- Immediately report hazards, unsafe practices, fuel spills, or defective equipment to the supervisor.
- During winter conditions, remove snow and apply salt/sand to walkways and pump areas as required to maintain safe access for customers and employees. Additional Duties
- Receive deliveries and place products or supplies in their designated storage or shelving areas as required.
- Accurately record attendance by punching in and out at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Perform other related duties consistent with the position or as assigned by the immediate supervisor. Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
