Job Overview Salon by Mango is Ajax’s premier AVEDA hair and beauty salon. We are currently seeking a Salon Assistant to join our team on a part time basis. - Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures at the front desk.
- Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, including sanitizing tools and workstations.
- Support stylists by preparing clients for services.
- Assist with retail sales by promoting products and upselling services to enhance the client experience.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and manage appointment scheduling as needed.




- Stay updated on current trends in hair styling and salon products to provide informed recommendations to clients. Requirements
- Previous experience in a salon or customer service environment is required.
- Robust communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with retail sales techniques, particularly in upselling products or services.
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques and a willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the salon at all times.
