This Senior Data Scientist role examines how users discover and adopt software through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and similar interfaces. Within Asana’s AI organization, you will influence agentic work management products through customer understanding, product metrics, and business analysis. Key Responsibilities: Understand customer needs with Product, UXR, and Engineering
Act as data lead for selected AI features
Use metrics to measure product progress
Develop experiments supporting roadmap decisions
Research and disseminate practices with Data Scientists
Requirements: Four to six years of data science experience
Majority of experience in growth-focused B2B SaaS roles
Conversational AI or ChatGPT feature experience preferred
Solid foundations in experimental design and causal inference
SQL and modern data-processing language fluency required
Use LLM knowledge, growth analytics, and causal methods to clarify Asana’s evolving product adoption strategy.
