This permanent Operations Engineer position supports water, wastewater, and related systems within Linear Infrastructure Services. You will manage operating projects, guide maintenance activities, assess performance, and advance process improvements. Collaboration with internal staff, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders is central to the work.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical guidance for infrastructure operations and maintenance
Monitor performance and recommend operational improvements
Identify emerging technologies and implement process enhancements
Oversee maintenance projects, contracts,



and project delivery
Support legal, claims, regulatory, and compliance matters
Requirements: Recognized university degree in Engineering
Ontario Professional Engineer designation
At least three years of related engineering experience
Project management experience in municipal infrastructure
Solid analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Bring municipal engineering expertise, operational insight, and problem-solving ability to Greater Sudbury's water and wastewater systems.
