As Cisco’s Technical Leader, Software Development, you will guide scalable backend engineering for Splunk’s ingest monitoring platform. You will partner with engineers, managers, and architects while shaping monitoring, AI-powered capabilities, and integrations across metrics, events, logs, and traces.
Key Responsibilities: Design scalable backend services and APIs on Splunk Cloud Platform
Drive technical execution with engineers, managers, and architects
Develop monitoring, diagnostics, and automated remediation capabilities
Build integrations supporting metrics, events, logs, and traces




Troubleshoot incidents during scheduled twenty-four-hour on-call rotation
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and eight-plus years relevant experience, or equivalent advanced degree experience
Public cloud backend development and operations experience
Scalable distributed systems architecture experience
Backend development using Python, Go, or Java
Technical leadership in system design and delivery
Bring backend architecture, cloud engineering, and technical leadership to Cisco’s Splunk monitoring platform for data ingestion.
