As a Senior Software Developer focused on AI/ML, you will guide strategy and implementation within Smile Labs. Your work supports customer-specific solutions built on Smile’s FHIR-based data liberation platform. Apply semantic matching, RAG systems, document parsing, and agentic frameworks to complex healthcare data projects.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as the team’s AI/ML subject matter expert
Document AI strategy and align it with product roadmaps
Shape project scope, milestones, and solution design
Implement AI/ML solutions, prototypes, and external components
Write manageable code, unit tests, and technical documentation




Requirements: Six or more years in software architecture, full-stack development, or AI engineering
Two or more years implementing advanced AI solutions
Experience with semantic matching, RAG, and structured document parsing
Experience deploying agentic systems with LangGraph, Crew AI, or OpenAI Agents SDK
Experience designing end-to-end architectures for complex projects
