Finning Canada is hiring a permanent Service Supervisor for Alberta oil sands operations. You will lead Heavy Equipment Technicians and apprentices while managing repair progress, productivity, quality, and communication. This prospect fits an experienced technician or frontline leader with Caterpillar equipment experience and supervisory capability.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor job progress, risks, productivity, and safe completion
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop technicians and apprentices
Manage assignments, manpower, bay utilization, and targets
Communicate repair progress and scope changes with customers




Drive service-right-the-first-time execution and quality reporting
Requirements: Minimum four years with Caterpillar equipment and engines
Leadership experience in heavy equipment maintenance environments
Understanding of repair processes and customer service delivery
Knowledge of JHAs, hazard assessments, and National Safety Code requirements
Experience with Caterpillar dozers, loaders, graders, or excavators considered an asset
Bring equipment knowledge, workforce leadership, and customer-focused repair management to Finning’s Caterpillar service operations.
