Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, the Planning Supervisor manages harvest planning activities within assigned areas. The work includes cutblock and road layout, operational plan preparation, contractor supervision, and stakeholder communication. This opportunity sits within West Fraser’s Woodland’s Team at the Blue Ridge Lumber Division.
Key Responsibilities: Complete fieldwork for cutblock and road layout
Prepare and submit Final Harvest Plans
Prepare and submit Annual Operating Plans
Supervise contractors and seasonal company staff
Communicate with Alberta government and stakeholder groups
Requirements: Hold or pursue Alberta RPF or RPFT designation
Demonstrate solid proficiency with GIS applications
Maintain a strong commitment to safety
Bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Show proven organizational skills and motivation
