As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will guide technical direction, planning, and engineering growth. You will design distributed infrastructure, public APIs, TypeScript and React console tooling, and AI capabilities for DNS and Route 53. Your work will support more than 10 AWS networking service teams.
Key Responsibilities: Own technical direction, roadmap, and multi-engineer project delivery
Define AI practices across coding, testing, and operations
Design and operate distributed health checking infrastructure
Build public APIs and shared Route 53 console tooling




Mentor engineers through design and code reviews
Requirements: Seven-plus years of full software development lifecycle experience
Seven-plus years designing scalable, reliable systems
Experience leading architecture or design for current systems
Experience mentoring, serving as technical lead, or leading teams
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent preferred
Shape Amazon Route 53 through distributed systems, AI practices, public APIs, and full stack engineering leadership.
