Reformer Pilates Instructor ROOM38 | Mississauga, ON6 Job Summary ROOM38 is a new movement and recovery studio coming to Mississauga's Square One District, bringing together heated movement, Reformer Pilates, and recovery in one thoughtfully designed space. We're looking for passionate, experienced Reformer Pilates Instructors to join our founding team. Our Reformer programming is designed to offer a range of experiences, from foundational introduction classes to dynamic full-body workouts, strength-focused sequences, and controlled, precision-based movement. We're looking for instructors who can confidently guide beginners through the fundamentals of Reformer Pilates while also delivering challenging, thoughtfully programmed classes for more experienced clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging, well-structured 50-minute Reformer Pilates classes across a range of formats and experience levels.
- Deliver foundational introductory classes, teaching clients proper equipment setup, spring adjustments, key positions, transitions, and essential Reformer techniques.
- Design and lead dynamic full-body classes incorporating spring resistance, props, and creative sequencing to build strength, stability, balance, and muscular endurance.
- Deliver strength-focused and controlled movement sequences that challenge clients while emphasizing alignment, precision, and movement quality.
- Provide clear verbal cueing, demonstrations, hands-on adjustments where appropriate, and modifications to accommodate different abilities.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment that encourages clients to build confidence and progress in their practice.
- Bring creativity, personality,



and your individual teaching style while maintaining consistency with ROOM38's class formats and standards.
- Build meaningful connections with clients and contribute to a positive, community-focused studio culture.
- Collaborate with the ROOM38 team to deliver a consistently elevated client experience. Qualifications & Experience
- Recognized Reformer Pilates instructor certification from an established training organization.
- Experience teaching Reformer Pilates to clients across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
- Strong understanding of Pilates principles, anatomy, biomechanics, alignment, and safe movement progression.
- Confidence teaching both foundational instruction and more challenging full-body or strength-based classes.
- Ability to develop creative, balanced class sequences using spring resistance and props.
- Robust verbal cueing, class management, and the ability to offer appropriate modifications and progressions.
- Comfortable working with clients who are new to Reformer Pilates and helping them build confidence with the equipment.
- A warm, professional presence and genuine passion for movement, wellness, and community.
- Valid instructor liability insurance, or willingness to obtain it before teaching. Why ROOM38? We're building more than a studio.
