Job Summary The Kitchen Hand/Cook supports smooth daily kitchen operations through food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, and serving. This hands-on role helps provide well-prepared meals and dependable food service while keeping the kitchen organized and attentive to food safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and meals, following established recipes and kitchen procedures.
- Cook and serve food promptly, supporting an orderly and welcoming service.
- Handle food safely, maintain clean work areas, and store ingredients appropriately.
- Assist with routine kitchen tasks and coordinate with colleagues to keep service running smoothly. Requirements Required: Practical food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, serving, and food handling capabilities, with care for food safety and cleanliness. Preferred: Food service experience, including experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or the wider food industry; reliability, teamwork, and an organized approach are valuable strengths.
