Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated French Language Instructor to join our team on an independent contractual basis. The role involves teaching both online and in-person French lessons focused on overall language development — including speaking, listening, reading, and writing — for academic, professional, or personal growth. Classes will be delivered through D2L Brightspace. In addition to lesson delivery, the instructor will provide personalized support to learners and foster an engaging, inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver French lessons online and in-person using D2L and other instructional tools.
- Facilitate interactive and engaging learning experiences.
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to learners.
- Support learners in improving speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.




- Maintain professionalism and reliability as an independent contractor.
- Hold a French Language Teaching Certification (DALF, DELF, FLE, or equivalent).
- Demonstrate fluency in French and English (bilingual proficiency required).
- Have experience teaching French as a second language.
- Show strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Be comfortable using digital tools and online teaching platforms (D2L, Teams, etc.) Terms
- Contract-based position (independent contractor status).
- Flexible scheduling; hours depend on student demand.
