The Acupuncturist provides attentive, individualized care, using acupuncture to support patients’ treatment goals. The role involves understanding patient concerns, explaining care clearly, and coordinating with colleagues to help deliver a thoughtful, consistent care experience.

Responsibilities

- Discuss patients’ concerns, relevant health history, and treatment goals before care.
- Provide acupuncture treatments with attention to patient comfort, safety, and individual needs.
- Explain procedures and aftercare in explicit, accessible language, using medical terminology accurately.
- Maintain timely, accurate patient records and coordinate relevant updates with the care team.

Experience

School/Licensed

Required:



Patient care skills, clear communication, accurate recordkeeping, and the ability to use medical terminology appropriately when discussing treatment and documenting care. These capabilities support attentive appointments and effective coordination with colleagues. Preferred: Hospital experience and familiarity with collaborative care settings are advantageous, along with a considerate approach to patient questions and comfort. Acupuncture experience can support confident delivery of individualized treatment and clear explanations of care.

Pay: From $1.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
