About BE Ultimate & BE Athletics
We're athletes making high-performance gear for the teams and communities we're part of. Founded in Vancouver, BC, we started as BE Ultimate — designing custom, performance-focused uniforms and apparel for Ultimate frisbee teams — and today we're growing into BE Athletics, our next chapter that brings the same craft, service, and teamwear support to more teams, programs, sports, and communities across the world. We're a Certified B Corporation, and our mission is to enable and inspire athletes, trainers, coaches, and teams to be Better than Ever.
Our business has been built through strong relationships, high-quality custom apparel, and a deep understanding of the athletic community. As we enter our next stage of growth and expand into new sports and markets, we're looking for an Operations and Production Manager to coordinate the production and delivery of our apparel. This person will work closely with overseas suppliers and our internal team to keep orders on track, manage the details from production through delivery, and ensure customers receive their apparel accurately and on time.
The Role
The Operations and Production Manager plays a key role in ensuring our business delivers high-quality custom apparel efficiently, accurately, and on time as we grow into new sports and markets. Beyond managing day-to-day operations, we're looking for someone who wants to help shape how the company runs and build the systems that support our next stage of growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, solving problems, and continuously improving how work gets done. You will be responsible for overseeing production, inventory management, shipping, logistics, while managing costs, reducing waste, and coordinating the people and partners who bring our products to life.
You'll have the opportunity to shape our operations and production strategy, strengthen supplier relationships, improve product quality and turnaround times, and develop scalable processes that grow with the business. Your work will have a direct impact on our customer experience and the growth of a small and ambitious company.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable balancing immediate priorities with long-term improvements. You'll bring a solid sense of ownership, an eye for detail, and the curiosity to keep finding better ways to deliver exceptional products and service.

- Coordinate supplier invoices with accounting and follow up to ensure timely payment.
- Serve as a key point of contact for supplier and production questions, providing practical solutions and timely support to the sales team.
- Hold suppliers accountable for production errors and quality issues: clarifying responsibilities, expectations and working together to reach fair resolutions and/or cost-sharing arrangements.
What You'll Do — Logistics and Shipping
- Oversee shipment tracking and delivery coordination, proactively addressing delays and keeping relevant team members informed.
- Manage carrier communications, shipping notifications, and shipment-related inquiries.
- Coordinate customs requirements and resolve clearance issues to support timely international deliveries.
- Arrange shipping quotes and logistics for large or specialized shipments, including event gear.

- Resolve day-to-day inventory and warehouse issues in collaboration with sales and other team members.
- Improve ERP workflows and operational processes, working with internal systems support to strengthen inventory management and warehouse efficiency.
- Improve warehouse organization, inventory management, and warehouse workflows to reduce errors, make processes more consistent and repeatable, speed up fulfillment, and lower costs.
