Job Description

Express Employment Professionals Winnipeg West is currently recruiting reliable, hardworking, and physically capable General Labourers for our client located in the St. Boniface Industrial Area of Winnipeg.

The successful candidates will assist with both warehouse and meat production operations, including handling, sorting, packaging, and preparing meat products for storage and distribution.

This is a physically active position that requires attention to detail, positive attendance, and a strong commitment to food safety and workplace cleanliness.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a refrigerated environment, handling meat products, and performing repetitive physical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Meat Production & Packaging

- Assist with sorting, weighing, packaging, and labeling meat products.
- Prepare products for processing, storage, and distribution.
- Inspect products and packaging to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Support production staff in meeting daily operational targets.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.





Warehouse & Material Handling

- Load, unload, move, and organize products and materials.
- Assist with receiving shipments and preparing outgoing orders.
- Stack, label, and organize packaged products in designated areas.
- Move materials between warehouse, production, and refrigerated storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Must be available to start work at 7:00 AM.
- Previous general labour, warehouse, manufacturing, food production, or meat processing experience is an asset.
- Comfortable handling meat products and working in refrigerated environments.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to good attendance.
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
- Comfortable handling pork meat products
- Reliable transportation to the St. Boniface Industrial Area is preferred.
