Processing Machine Operator

Pipetech Polymers Ltd. is a new production facility with state-of-the-art equipment in Calgary, Alberta. Our goal is to manufacture top quality urethane products that consistently meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. We service oil & gas, municipal water, mining and food industries to name a few.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to assist with daily operations at our urethane pouring facility. This is a hands-on role in a small, growing production environment.

Responsibilities

· Facilitate the preparation, mixing and pouring of chemicals and urethane in the production process.

· Trimming and cleaning of finished product as needed.

· Operate a variety of hand tools including cutting, mixing, etc.

· Preparation, assembly, cleaning, maintenance and storage of molds.

· Conduct quality checks and troubleshooting of finished products.

· Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Shipping and Receiving

· Assist with daily shipping and receiving tasks as required.

Administration

· Maintenance of individual safety certifications including but not limited to forklift and WHIMIS.





· Maintain a commitment to workplace safety at all times.

· Willingness to work as an integral part of the Pipetech team.

· Ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by management.

Requirements

· Physically able to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet, standing for extended periods.

· Ability to handle repetitive tasks.

· Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

· Punctual, dependable, and able to work well with a small team.

· Prior experience in manufacturing or production is an asset (not required).

Other Information

· Work hours – 8 hour day shift Monday to Friday.

· Salary starting from $45,000 per year.
