General Labour – Event Staff Job Duties

- Loading and unloading event equipment, supplies, furniture, and materials from trucks and trailers.
- Setting up and dismantling tables, chairs, booths, tents, stages, and other event equipment.
- Arranging chairs, tables, and seating areas according to event layouts and floor plans.
- Assisting with the setup and installation of vendor booths, exhibition displays, and trade show spaces.
- Moving and positioning heavy equipment, furniture, and event materials as required.
- Assisting vendors and exhibitors with booth setup and teardown.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and protected work environment throughout the event.
- Removing garbage and clearing event spaces after setup and during teardown.
- Following instructions from supervisors and event coordinators to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Working as part of a team to meet event setup and breakdown deadlines.
- Performing general labour duties, including lifting, carrying, stacking, and organizing supplies.
- Ensuring all equipment and materials are properly stored and secured after events.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
