Centra is expanding into Saskatchewan and Manitoba, and we’re looking for a General Manager to build and lead our residential window and door replacement business in these markets. You will establish our local presence, build sales and installation teams, launch operations, and take responsibility for regional growth and profitability.

You’ll be building something new with an established business behind you. Centra brings more than 40 years of experience, our own Canadian manufacturing, proven products, and experienced teams to support the expansion. You bring the commercial judgment, local relationships, and hands-on leadership to turn that foundation into a successful Prairie business.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, you will lead the development of Centra’s Prairie business across sales, installation, operations, people, customer experience, and financial performance.

This role calls for someone who can assess an opportunity and make it happen. You’ll develop the expansion plan with senior leadership, build the teams and relationships required to execute it, and stay close enough to the business to identify problems early and act.

Your responsibilities will include

- Evaluate market opportunities and develop recommendations for where, when, and how Centra expands.
- Build practical business cases covering demand, competition, investment, operating costs, and financial returns.
- Lead market launches, including local relationship building, facilities, logistics, and operating readiness.
- Hire, develop, and lead sales, installation, and operational teams.
- Build local demand through business development, referral relationships, partnerships, and community involvement.
- Own regional financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, operating expenses, and working capital.
- Work with Centra’s established teams to coordinate the support required for each launch.
- Protect installation quality and the customer experience as the business grows.
- Adapt the approach to local conditions and use what you learn to improve subsequent launches.

You bring





- Substantial leadership experience in home improvement, residential installation, building products, or a related trades-based service business.
- Experience leading both sales and operational delivery, including field teams, installers, or skilled trades.
- Direct accountability for a business, branch, division, or region, with responsibility for financial performance and profitability.
- Demonstrated success growing a business through territory expansion, a new location, a division launch, or significant growth within an existing operation.
- Experience hiring, developing, and holding teams accountable across sales and operations.
- Strong financial judgment, including budgeting, forecasting, managing margins, and evaluating growth investments.
- The ability to build local relationships, generate business, and establish credibility in a new market.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to make sound decisions without needing constant direction.

Experience in windows and doors, direct-to-homeowner sales, or opening new locations is an asset. An established network in Saskatchewan or Manitoba would also be valuable.

Your previous title may have been General Manager, Branch Manager, Regional Manager, Division Leader, Vice President, or Business Owner. What matters is the scope you have led and the results you can demonstrate.

Location and Travel

This is one regional leadership position advertised in Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg. The successful candidate may be based in any of these cities. Candidates relocating must be prepared to establish their home base in the region.

You will travel regularly across Saskatchewan and Manitoba to build relationships, launch locations, and support your teams, with additional travel to Centra’s operations in Alberta and British Columbia.

The first 120 days will involve extensive onboarding travel. Ongoing travel is currently anticipated to be approximately 3+ days per month, with additional travel as market launches and business needs require.
