Job Summary

The Kitchen Assistant/Cook supports daily kitchen operations by preparing meals, cooking food, and serving guests. This hands-on role helps maintain an organized, welcoming food service and contributes to a smooth experience for customers and colleagues.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and meals according to kitchen instructions, using appropriate food preparation and cooking methods.
- Serve meals promptly and courteously, supporting efficient food service during busy periods.
- Handle food carefully, follow food safety practices, and keep preparation and service areas clean and orderly.
- Assist with meal preparation, restocking supplies, and routine kitchen tasks to help the team maintain steady service.

Qualifications

Required: Practical food handling, food preparation, cooking, serving,



and food safety skills, with care for cleanliness, organization, and consistent meal service. Preferred: Food service experience, including restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience, and familiarity with preparing meals in a team setting. Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
