Transporter Job Description

Purpose of this position:

The Transporter is responsible for ensuring that dirty laundry is collected and returned to the laundry facilities to be cleaned, and that cleaned laundry items are appropriately stocked throughout the spa for guest use in a timely and organized fashion.

Job Summary:

- Full-time, permanent position
- Paid bi-weekly
- Full benefits package after 900 hours worked,



conditional upon maintaining an average of 32 hours worked per week.

Responsibilities:

- Transport clean robes and sandals to Front Desk, and color-coded laundry bags and towels to various locations around the spa.
- Refill closets and bins and the spa.
- Maintain the pool area by checking for dirty laundry and bringing clean pool towels and lounge chair covers.
- Collect dirty laundry from bins around the spa and Front Desk and return to laundry to be sorted into appropriate bins.
- Take mail to Hillside.
- Grab and drop empty bottles from the spa and return them to laundry.
- Take out garbage and recycling.

Job Requirements:

- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Able to pull and push a minimum of 60 lbs
- Able to climb stairs, squat, kneel, bend, lift, twist at the waist, and reach above the shoulder

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- A valid G-License is required
