The Night Auditor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the full functioning of the hotel during the overnight shift. This role leads and mentors the Night Audit team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and exceptional guest service. The Night Auditor Supervisor performs night audit duties, supports late arrivals and guest requests, manages cash handling and accounting procedures, and serves as the overnight leader-on-duty to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the full functioning of the hotel during the overnight shift, ensuring operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, coach, and support the Night Audit team while promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Liaise with the Front Office Manager regarding significant overnight occurrences, including guest concerns, operational issues, and employee performance matters.
- Complete all end-of-day procedures and reconcile transactions accurately for the accounting team.
- Perform guest check-ins and check-outs while maintaining High-level OBBH service standards.
- Complete all Night Audit functions, including reporting, balancing, and supporting overnight operational tasks.
- Ensure special billing instructions and guest account requirements are communicated accurately and promptly to the Front Office and Accounting teams.
- Respond to reservation inquiries and coordinate guest requests relating to housekeeping, in-room dining, valet, and bell services.
- Handle guest interactions with professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to service excellence.
- Monitor overnight operations, identify opportunities for improvement,



and take appropriate action to resolve issues independently.
- Support training and onboarding of new Night Audit team members and contribute to ongoing development initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to hotel policies, procedures, health and safety standards, and security protocols.

Qualifications

- Previous hotel Night Audit experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience using hotel property management systems, preferably OPERA.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across departments.
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Solid understanding of cash handling, revenue reconciliation, and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
