We are looking for a Metal Finishing Technician in Cambridge, ON, for one of our automotive clients.
Pay - $30-$35/hr
Shift - Day
Key Responsibilities
- Handle precision finishing work on machined parts.
- Perform deburring, lapping, and stoning on complex components.
- Use a microscope when needed to inspect parts and ensure smooth edges and surfaces.
- Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Check part dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Select the right abrasives and finishing methods to meet quality standards.
- Support team members in maintaining finishing quality.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5 7+ years of experience in aerospace deburring, mold and die polishing, or precision tool finishing.
- Ability to work independently and produce high-quality parts.
