Job Overview

The French Tutor helps learners build confidence and practical ability in French through clear instruction, guided practice, and constructive feedback. This role adapts lessons to learners’ needs and supports progress in speaking, reading, listening, and writing.

Duties

- Plan and deliver engaging French tutoring sessions, explaining language concepts and encouraging active participation.
- Assess learner progress, provide useful feedback, and adapt activities to strengthen understanding and writing skills.
- Create a supportive learning workplace, including when working with children or in a classroom setting.
- Your impact: Help learners communicate more confidently in French and make steady progress toward their learning goals.

Requirements

Required:



Strong French and English communication, teaching and tutoring capabilities, clear writing skills, and the ability to explain concepts patiently and adapt instruction to learners. Preferred: Experience working with children, classroom experience, and knowledge of Mandarin, Spanish, or Japanese can broaden your perspective and help you connect with learners from varied language backgrounds. A thoughtful, encouraging approach and reliable preparation support effective sessions.

Pay: $17.93-$25.00 per hour
