About the Role
You’ll be the technical and sales heart of our optical. You’ll guide clients to frames and lenses that suit their vision, face and style, fit and adjust eyewear with precision, and help every client feel informed and respected, never pressured. This is a hands-on role with minimal management duties, for someone who loves both the craft and the conversation.

What You’ll Do

- Lead personalized eyewear consultations, matching frames and lens options to each client’s vision and lifestyle.
- Take measurements, dispense, fit and adjust eyewear, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Work closely with the optometrist to translate prescriptions into the right solution.
- Build lasting relationships through follow-up and client care, in person and online.
- Prepare for each appointment and present merchandise thoughtfully.
- Support inventory, ordering and displays, and help select products from our independent brands.
- Help our assistant keep scheduling and workflow running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

- A licensed optician in Alberta (or eligible to be licensed).
- Legally eligible to work in Canada, and available Tuesday to Saturday in person.
- A track record of honest, relationship-based selling, whether in optical, luxury retail or another premium setting.
- Strong technical skill in measuring,



dispensing, fitting and adjusting eyewear.
- Warm, clear communication in person, by email and by SMS.
- A flair for style and an appreciation for craftsmanship.
- Comfortable with basic computer systems (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and a practice management system.
