Primary Responsibilities
As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will play an integral role in the manufacturing process by producing high-quality precision-machined components. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC lathe machines while ensuring parts meet all quality and dimensional specifications. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.
Duties Include
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work closely with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CNC Lathe operating experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Robust organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- CNC programming experience is considered an asset
- Forklift experience is considered an asset
Experience
- CNC Lathe Operation: 2+ years (required)
- Manufacturing or machining environment experience (preferred)

Pay: $20.63-$25.00 per hour
