Pebbles Aftercare Learners is a agile learning community where children are encouraged to explore, inquire, and discover. Our approach blends active learning, conceptual inquiry, and integrated experiences inspired by Gardner’s multiple intelligences. We nurture each child’s cognitive, creative, and relational development while fostering belonging and a strong sense of self.

We believe that meaningful learning happens when children are invited to investigate real-world ideas, collaborate with peers, and express themselves through many ways of knowing. Our educators play a key role in shaping this environment of curiosity, connection, and growth.

Your Role

As a Before & After School Support Educator, you will help create a safe, engaging, and responsive atmosphere where children feel seen, valued, and inspired to explore. You will:

Engage Through Exploration

- Plan and facilitate hands-on, active-learning experiences connected to real-world problem solving and meaningful inquiry.

Support Concept-Inquiry Learning

- Guide children in exploring big ideas such as systems, change, balance, movement, and interconnection.

Foster Belonging and Self-Identity

- Build warm, trusting relationships that help children develop confidence, autonomy, and a strong sense of self.

Collaborate with Purpose

- Work closely with the team to create a cohesive, inclusive, and reflective learning environment.

Commit to Consistency

- Be available for both parts of the daily split shift to ensure continuity of care and connection.

What You Bring





- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning journeys.
- Creativity, energy, and enthusiasm for developing meaningful experiences.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to support integrated learning experiences that nurture curiosity and exploration.
- Qualifications:
- ECEA/Responsible Adult Certificate
- Valid First Aid certification
- A valid Class 5 License Driver
- At least two years of non learners driving experience
- Clean driving record / abstract

Please know that split shifts are required for this position (7:30–8:45am & 2:30–6:00pm)
