We are currently hiring a Shipper/Receiver - Parts Driver at our Grande Prairie location.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Arrange for freight carrier pick ups and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Completion of waybills, obtain rate quotes and add to sales orders when required.
- Package all product in a safe, consistent, and professional manner.
- Pick orders from inventory as required.
- Receive all company shipments of inventory and non-inventory products.
- Unpack, check, and store supplies and product.
- Keep inventory organized and in an area allotted to that item number according to the warehouse bin system.
- Operate a forklift and other equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pickup and delivery when required with a 3/4 ton truck.
- Operate the vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload several pieces of freight in a day.




- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
- Ensure safe cargo securement.
- Ensure work area is clean and organized.
- Assist in other departments as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Positive time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a Clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Forklift Operator Certification.
- Good knowledge of company products and services.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

- High School Diploma preferred; or one-year related experience and/or training in inventory control or warehousing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
