Brick Street Bakery is hiring!

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Kitchen Operations Team Member to join our team.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, café, or food-service environment and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace.

Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh sandwiches, fillings, and bakery products according to company standards.
- Bake, restock, and maintain product quality and presentation.
- Monitor inventory, expiration dates, and proper food storage.
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen areas, refrigerators, and equipment.
- Complete daily food preparation, inventory records, and opening/closing duties.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with front-of-house operations when required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Previous commercial kitchen, bakery, café, or food-service experience required.
- Experience with food preparation and kitchen equipment.
- Positive understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.




- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during busy periods.
- Reliable, punctual, responsible, and detail-oriented.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Required: Food Handler Certification and previous bakery experience.
