Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Packaging Operator for our client in the chemical manufacturing industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating packaging machinery, performing quality checks, handling materials and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining a safe working environment.

Shift - 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Key Responsibilities

- Operate filling, conveyor and labeling machines.
- Package chemical products according to production specifications.
- Inspect finished products to ensure proper labeling, sealed caps and quality standards.
- Palletize finished products and operate shrink-wrapping equipment.
- Use a forklift to move pallets and materials within the facility.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Monitor packaging materials and report inventory shortages.
- Perform routine cleaning and inspections of packaging equipment.
- Follow safety procedures for chemical handling and waste disposal.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.
- Previous forklift operating experience.
- Ability to read, understand and follow safety procedures.
- Robust attention to detail and quality control.




- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.

Work Environment

- Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Exposure to chemical scents and varying temperatures.
- Regular standing, lifting and repetitive tasks.
