Overview

Culinary Search Group is looking for Cooks in Toronto! We are currently searching to fill in freelance cook positions for industry/private events in the GTA. This candidate has qualified credentials and working experience. The candidate must be dependable and hard-working, with big aspirations to grow in the company.

Job Description

- Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and succeed in a fast-paced environment while being detail-oriented
- Prepare food for service in a premium restaurant with detail, speed, and accuracy
- Exceed Chef’s expectations to the highest quality and standards
- Coordinate with other cooks and Chefs to complete dishes




- Knowledgeable and must abide by the Health & Safety standards and Food Safe requirements to the fullest degree
- Keep areas of cooking clean using methods as determined by company policy

Cooks must have:

- Cooking experience in Industry and Fine-dining events
- Food Handler’s certification (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of industry experience; catering experience is a huge asset
- A great attitude and proven reliability
- Must be team orientated
- Skilled in various cooking methods
- Own uniform (black or white chef jacket)
- Access to a vehicle is a huge asset

Salary:

- $22.00-$25.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Evening shift

- GTA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
