About the Role

North Fraser Plumbing & Heating is a family-run plumbing and mechanical company serving the Fraser Valley. We specialize in custom homes, residential renovations, light commercial projects, and plumbing service work.

We're looking for a skilled, motivated plumber who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and is confident working independently.

This is a great prospect for someone who enjoys the craftsmanship of custom residential plumbing but also likes the variety and problem-solving that comes with smaller renovations and service calls.

Your week could include working on a beautiful custom home, completing a bathroom renovation, troubleshooting a plumbing issue, or helping a long-term customer with repairs.

We're not expecting you to know everything. We're happy to invest in training and developing the right person, especially in specialized mechanical systems. However, you must already have the experience and confidence to complete smaller renovations and light plumbing service calls on your own.

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of a job,



find solutions, and deliver excellent work without needing someone looking over their shoulder.

What You'll Be Doing

- Plumbing installations for custom homes and residential renovations
- Completing smaller renovation projects independently
- Handling light residential and commercial service calls
- Diagnosing and repairing common plumbing issues
- Installing and replacing fixtures, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and other plumbing equipment
- Reading plans, planning materials, and organizing your work efficiently
- Communicating professionally with homeowners, builders, and property managers
- Maintaining accurate job notes, photos, and documentation
- Participating in a paid on-call rotation
- Assisting with larger projects and specialized mechanical work as needed

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

- Proven hands-on plumbing experience
- Ability to independently complete smaller plumbing renovations and routine service calls
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage your own workday
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized, professional, and comfortable working directly with homeowners
- Valid driver's licence and clean driving record
- Positive attitude and a team-first mindset

Big Bonuses:

- Red Seal Plumbing certification




- Experience with custom homes and high-end residential projects
- Boiler servicing and troubleshooting experience
- Gas fitting experience or certification
- Experience with hydronic and radiant heating systems
- Backflow certification
