We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper or Junior Controller to join our team and help keep our financial operations running smoothly.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper or Junior Controller to manage our financial records, oversee daily transactions, payroll, and ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced workplace and has a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledgers.
- Process invoices, payroll, and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Prepare bank, credit card, and clearing account reconciliations, and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with financial reporting, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with management to provide financial insights and support business operations.
- Ensure accuracy and organization in all financial documentation.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in retail or a similar industry.




- Strong knowledge of accounting software (current records are in Sage).
- Understanding of payroll processing and tax regulations. (ADP is used for most stores payroll)
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
