Kidston Helm Ross Lawyers is looking for a Family Lawyer to join our Vernon team. We welcome lawyers ready to take ownership of their files, collaborate with experienced colleagues and help shape a growing practice.

The opportunity

- Advise and represent clients on separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, support and property division.
- Manage family law matters from initial consultation through negotiation, mediation and court proceedings, as appropriate.
- Draft agreements, pleadings and other court materials; develop practical, client-focused strategies.
- Build trusted client relationships and collaborate with colleagues across practice areas.
- Contribute ideas to improve how we serve clients and work together.

What you bring

- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia, or eligibility to become a member.
- Ideally 2+ years of family law practice experience; we welcome conversations with lawyers whose experience differs.
- Sound judgment, clear communication and strong advocacy, negotiation and drafting skills.
- An approachable, collaborative style and commitment to excellent client service.
