Overview

The Part-Time Early Childhood Educator supports children’s learning, development, and participation in a welcoming classroom. This role combines childcare and teaching with attentive communication and organized daily routines.

Responsibilities

- Support age-appropriate learning and play through early childhood education activities, adapting approaches to children’s interests and needs.
- Provide attentive childcare, encourage positive interactions, and support children through inclusive, respectful participation.
- Communicate with children, families, and colleagues in English as appropriate, sharing clear observations and classroom updates.
- Maintain organized classroom records and materials, use basic computer operations for routine tasks, and manage time effectively.

Experience
Required:

Practical childcare, teaching, communication, organization, and time-management capabilities support secure, engaging classroom routines; basic computer skills help with records and daily tasks.

Preferred: Experience working with children, classroom experience, early childhood education, leadership, and clear writing skills.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 35.0 per week
