Nature of the Work

The principal and customary work of the incumbent consists of carrying out highly specialized technical functions of a complex nature in the support, development, integration, and optimization of corporate applications, reporting solutions, and related data services.

The incumbent acts as a senior technical resource for assigned corporate and internally developed applications, including GPI, Jade, Tosca, Mozaïk, the LBPSB SSO Portal, and Fusion. Working with a wide range of latitude according to established priorities and objectives, the incumbent analyzes complex requirements and incidents, evaluates possible courses of action, recommends technical solutions, adapts procedures, and develops methods to improve application performance, reliability, reporting, and user experience.

The incumbent works with IT personnel, professionals, management, departments, users, vendors, and other partners. The incumbent distributes work among technicians, ensures that assigned work is completed, reviews completed work at management’s request, and provides training, technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge
